Isn’t There a Little ‘Freak’ in Us All?

dogAlright, alright, I’m really not thrilled with some of these early videos. Especially this one because it’s so incredibly ridiculous. Not sure why I thought it was a good idea to make it. But, I did and I’m owning it.

I’m trying to get my video content consistent with my blog, then I’ll be all set to move forward.

Anyway, there’s a saying that goes, “You know you’re an adult when…you get excited that there’s a new sponge in the sink”. In my opinion, there has never been a more true statement. This next vid is right in line with that mentality. Isn’t cleaning more fun when you’ve got a new product or tool up your sleeve? I certainly think so. Take a gander (if you dare) at this vid listing some handy tools and tips you must know to get your nerd on.

So now that you know how incredibly dorky I am, there’s no shame in letting me know what cleaning related items are floating your boat now-days. I’d love to hear about ’em.

Until next time, keep it real and stay true to yourselves. 🤓

How to Clean the Pants Off Your Artificial Plants

flowerYes. I know plants don’t actually wear pants. How would that even work?

One of the issues I encounter so often when cleaning other’s (and my own) home is that any artificial plants and/or flowers on the scene get particularly dusty. There are a few ways to deal with this conundrum:

  1. Dunk ’em – The best way I’ve found to clean most of these buggers, unless they are extremely fragile, is to just dunk ’em. Surprisingly, most of the little guys can take it.
  2. Artificial Flower Cleaning Spray – I purchased an aerosol can of this from my local floral shop (whoop, whoop Springfield Floral). I then took my artificial bouquet outside on my driveway and sprayed away. It works pretty well on any florals that can’t be submerged.
  3. Computer Duster – Using canned air or computer duster is also a great way to “blow off” delicate flowers. Again, the gold standard is dunking here, but if you’re short on time or just like playing with computer duster, hey, have at it.

Got dusty artificial flowers and/or plants on your hands? Have no fear, Peachy Clean is here…to show you how to get those flowers into tip-top shape.

If you’ve got any other plantastic cleaning tips for me, I’d love to here about them!

Until then keep it real and stay true to yourself.

Oscar is Making Me a Grouch

So I’ve cleaned lots of homes with pets. However, none of these places were actually my home…until now. We own my husband’s home farm place outside of town. He goes there to work every day, as does my father-in-law. We have an awesome cat out there named Oscar. He is an orange short hair, about half grown, and soooo sweet. Well, Oscar happened to be hanging around the back tire of my husband’s pickup and, yep, you guessed it, he was run over. As a result, his pelvis was fractured. He had totally lost the use of his left-rear back leg. The vet put him on “kennel healing”. This means an injured animal stays in a confined place for a period of time. Since the animal is not able to move around much, his injury can heal. Oscar needs to be on “kennel healing” for a month. At that time, the vet will re-X-ray and we can see how his injury is coming along. Here’s my sweet boy on his first day of kennel-healing:

Even though he’s not running all over my house shedding, he’s still a bugger to clean up after. He’s a really sloppy (and not always the brightest) animal. He walks through the water in his dish, then walks through his litter. This somehow finds its way off of his feet onto my floor. He tips his dish of food over and since he’s a cat off of the farm, he doesn’t always understand this litter box concept. I feel like I am constantly sweeping, washing, and wiping up after this cat. So I thought I would pin a couple of Pinterest posts here regarding cleaning up after pets. I hope you find them interesting…I know I certainly do.

Wait, What?

Hey everyone, Peach Logo this entry is about forgetting and remembering. We all forget things don’t we? Well, some of us more so than others. As for me, I can remember things from my early childhood, song lyrics, TV characters…but not the items on my grocery list or my grocery list for that matter.

Yesterday I was at a job and I “remembered” to clean under the buttons on the range. Yeah, I was pretty proud about that. I even took a picture! Whoop, whoop!

Yeah, I know I’m awesome. You would be surprised at how dirty it can get under there. Making dirty things clean…oh, so satisfying. So forgetting to clean things…I made a video about it, wanna see it? Well, here it go…

Also, please excuse the poor quality of this footage. The production on some of these vids. isn’t the greatest. I shot and edited this one a while back on my phone (it looks it too, I know) :). This is one of the first video’s I did when I started my YouTube Channel. Hey, ya gotta start somewhere right?

Well hopefully, what I’m missing in visual quality can be made up with content quality. I’m trying to catch my blog up with my channel. So I can be more consistent over time.

Are there some things in life you’ve been forgetting about lately? How would you know right? You forgot them. Well if this post jogs your memory, tell me about it!
